I am a clinical social worker licensed in the State of Maryland with over 20 years of mental health experience. I provide individual and couples counseling for treatment of a broad spectrum of emotional problems including depression, anxiety, personal & spiritual life transition issues, abuse and trauma, grief and loss. I work with adults and older adolescents with an emphasis on women's issues and "a journey to self" approach for all clients. My style of therapy blends many modalities including cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, stress management, healthy breathing, guided imagery, self inquiry and mindfulness. Additionally, I offer group and private yoga instruction. Both disciplines incorporate an integrative approach to healing.

In the words of John O'Donohue, poet and scholar, "therapy is about helping people retrieve what has been lost to them; wakening and bringing home their fundamental wholesomeness".

Goddess Yoga is a unique "concept to wholistic fitness, health & healing that empowers women to break through to new levels of fitness - spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. Goddess Yoga goes beyond physical postures and enters into the full realm of women's traditional healing. It is the interface that weaves together modern and wholistic medicine with indigenous teachings of Mother Earth consciousness. It introduces wisdom about women's anatomy, the body's intelligence and energetic systems that is not taught in a typical yoga class.

In Goddess Yoga, you will receive tools to prevent illness, access your inner strength, face your fears and change your outlook by creating new choices.
